Early Preparation/Academic Fundamentals Programs

The highest test scores are built on a strong academic foundation. Covid learning loss is a very real thing.

Many students have large gaps in their core academic skills as a result of the Covid disruption, and will struggle mightily to prepare for the large terminal exams (IB/AP/A Levels) that are also moving back towards testing the full, pre-Covid curricula.

The quick solution to this is for parents to send their kids for hours of test-focused individual tutoring/tuition that we've found often gets them past the mid-term, but leaves a weak foundation for building towards the next concept - and hence more hours of tuition. Additionally, the sad fact is that many students who know they are getting 4 hours of math help weekly will effectively zone-out in school lessons.

Given that 3 out of 5 students feel unprepared for more advanced high school courses because they had a patchy learning experience over Covid, we are responding to that growing need for them to shore-up fundamental weaknesses in core academic areas such as math, writing, and reading.

This Zoom holiday academic enrichment course is appropriate for current 8th to 11th graders. It will cover the core elements of English Grammar and also Reading skills. Two key skills tested on the SAT and in general academics.
