Programs Overview |
| |
The SAT: Reasoning and SAT: Subject Tests are offered 6 times a year internationally: typically on the first Saturday of January, May, June, October, November and December.
All Testtakers programs are scheduled to conclude immediately before each SAT test date, so that the knowledge gained from the course is still fresh on the test day itself. We offer regular programs that are open to the general public as well as tailored programs for schools in Singapore and the rest of Asia.

Topics Covered
| |
In the Critical Reading portion of the program we cover how to anticipate on the Sentence Completion questions as well how to read for the main idea on the Critical Reading passages. A major focus of this part of the test is on building each student’s vocabulary. |
| |
The Mathematics portion of the program focuses on reviewing Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and other math concepts, with an aim to refresh knowledge and reconcile formulae and terminology that are familiar to American test takers, but are unclear to international students. Although the concepts are often well known to students, the SAT questions are created to trick the student into answering incorrectly based on a failure to read the question thoroughly and take into account all relevant information stated and assumed. Proprietary test taking techniques are introduced and practiced in order to develop a methodical and efficient approach to answering questions so that question “traps” are avoided, carelessness is minimized, and performance is maximized. |
| |
In the Writing portion of the program we cover all the most common grammatical errors on the Error ID and Sentence Correction multiple choice questions as well as how to write an effective argumentative essay. At this point, we have laid the foundation and through the rest of the program the focus will be on reviewing these concepts to minimize the number of wrong answers and increase the score.
